Popular spots include Buffalo Wild Wings, Chick-fil-A, and several locally-owned favorites throughout the Cotton District and downtown Starkville. We recommend asking about student specials when you dine out—many restaurants offer discounts on specific days or menu items.

You and your friends can secure this floorplan by each applying individually for the same layout and inviting one another to join a roommate group during the application.

Not sure who you want to live with yet? No problem. We offer roommate matching. At the end of the application, you’ll complete an in-depth questionnaire, and our team will match you based on lifestyle, preferences, and habits to help find the best fit.

Yes, WiFi is included in our new floorplan. We partner with Pavlov to provide high-speed internet for studying, gaming, streaming, and everything you need to stay connected.

Yes! We offer both in-person and live virtual tours. Schedule your tour online, and our team will walk you through our 4×2 Signature Renovated Floorplan, show you around the community, and answer any questions.

The 4×2 Signature Renovated Floorplan includes our new furniture line, featuring a black sofa with a matching chair, a wood-style coffee table, TV stand, side table, and a dining set with barstools. Each bedroom includes an extra-long full-size mattress and bed frame, a stackable dresser, nightstand, desk, and desk chair.

Renovations will be complete in time for August move-in for Fall 2026. Residents who lease this floorplan will be among the first to live in the newly upgraded space.

Our convenient location puts you within easy walking or biking distance of classes, campus dining, sporting events, and all the activities that make MSU special. Living this close to campus means you’ll spend less time traveling and more time enjoying everything Mississippi State and the vibrant Starkville community have to offer.

We offer first-come, first-served open parking for residents. Each lease holder receives one complimentary parking space. Additional parking details and guest parking information are available at the leasing office.

Yes! The Social Block and Townhomes offers convenient access to the SMART bus system, which provides free transportation for Mississippi State students directly to campus. SMART routes run throughout Starkville and connect to key locations around MSU, making it easy to get to class, campus events, and other destinations without a car. Download the app for real-time schedules and routes.

You’re minutes from everything Mississippi State University and Starkville have to offer! Catch a Bulldogs game at Davis Wade Stadium, explore the vibrant Cotton District with its shops and restaurants, or enjoy outdoor activities at McKee Park and the Refuge Golf Course. A. Yes! Be the first to live in our newly renovated 4-bedroom, 2-bath apartments, available for Fall 2026 move-in. These modern spaces feature vinyl flooring in a contemporary grey-blonde tone, sleek white shaker cabinet fronts with minimalist circular pulls, and black appliances for a bold contrast. You’ll enjoy new laminate countertops throughout, including a convenient breakfast bar, plus a built-in desk workspace with matching countertops. Updated brushed nickel fixtures, fresh grey walls with crisp white trim, new closet and interior doors, and modern LED lighting complete the transformation. Furnished units come with grey and oak-toned industrial modern furniture to match the updated aesthetic.

A. We are a smoke-free community. Smoking within 25 feet of any of our buildings is prohibited.

A. To secure your spot at The Social Block and Townhomes, fill out an online application on our website. Once you’ve submitted your application, we will email you our online lease for electronic signing. As our spots are on a first-come, first-served basis, we encourage you to begin the online leasing process as soon as possible. Please contact the office if you have any questions.

A. Our leases are individual leases, so you are only responsible for your own space. If your roommate transfers schools, you will not be responsible for their share of the rent.

A. Yes, furry friends are welcome! They are roommates, too. Simply add your pet’s information to your application to register. Please note there is a monthly pet rent for pet owners and some breed restrictions. Please contact the office for more information.

A. Yes, we require all residents to have renter’s liability insurance. You can enroll in a policy with your chosen provider and provide proof of coverage. If you do not provide proof of insurance, you will be automatically enrolled in our Resident Liability Insurance Program for a monthly fee of $10.95. This program meets our insurance requirements but does not cover your personal belongings. Please contact our office for more information.

A. Yes, we do! If you don’t have a roommate in mind, we offer a free roommate matching program. On your application, you will fill out a questionnaire to help our team match you with the best roommate possible.

A. Rent includes Wi-Fi, parking, and access to all our community amenities. Power and water costs will be split among your roommates and charged to your Resident Portal account each month. Utility prices may vary depending on usage.
